A poet and photographer, for many years Steve Lautermilch has been exploring the ancient sites and landscapes of the far western deserts. Rim (2010) received the Sow's Ear Chapbook Prize; recent poems received the Daniel Varoujan Award from the New England Poetry Club and the Muriel Craft Bailey Award from The Comstock Review.
